Valentine's Cafe

 is a gourmet international foods neighborhood restaurant named after the owner's pet schnauzer. It draws its inspiration from authentic international dishes, using only the freshest, most seasonal fruits and vegetables. The menu is vegetarian and half vegan. Valentine's Cafe serves dinner, weekend brunch and lunch. It was voted "Best of San Francisco-Best New Restaurant" for 1996 by San Francisco Weekly Readers; "Best of San Francisco- Best Vegetarian Restaurant," the San Francisco Weekly Critics Choice. The Chronicle and Examiner critics chose it as one of the top 150 in the Bay area for 1996.
